Nicholas Grimshaw葛林修 (倫敦.1939- )
生平簡介
葛林修 (Nicholas Grimshaw)生於1939年，倫敦。葛林修畢業於愛丁堡學院的建築系(Edinburgh College of art school of Architecture) 及AA建築學院(Architecture Association)。他在1980年創立葛林修聯合事務所(Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners )。葛林修認為我們的建築物很少考量到經濟性與必須採省能的方法來設計。所以他的建築物都很少用到金屬材料等耗能材,並且都有考慮到省能與節約能源的設計。葛林修大部份的做作品是商業性的建築,如Finical Times Printing Plant , Docklands, London(1986-8),Waterloo international Terminal , London(1988-93)等。他在1993年榮獲CBE獎,並於1994年獲Royal Academician獎。
